Vernon is for Lovers: The 3-day Romantic Getaway
Escape with the one you love on a romantic adventure to Vernon. Disconnect from it all and connect with each other in a place that is rooted in timeless beauty, natural history, and that laid-back Vernon vibe.
Day 1
After a relaxed morning and tasty breakfast in town, get creative together and take a class at the Vernon Community Arts Centre. Learn something new with fused glass making, water colour painting, pottery and so much more. Make sure to book in advance.
Next, head out to the spectacular Okanagan wineries at the Scenic Sip in nearby Lake Country. Sit back and let someone else do the driving and book with one of the wine tour companies.
Finish out the day with a date night at The Range Lounge and Grill with its globally-inspired culinary creations and one of the best patios around.
Day 2
Soak in the natural beauty of the Trails Capital of BC with a walk to one of our amazing viewpoints along each section of the Grey Canal trail.
For lunch, we recommend heading to Cambium Cider Co where you will sit amongst the orchard for a cider tasting.
Dinner at the cozy and intimate Intermezzo Restaurant & Wine Cellar for delicious pasta and Okanagan Valley wine.
If you aren’t worn out from the day, head out to Armstrong for a show at the outdoor-immersive Caravan Farm Theatre.
Day 3
As a guest at Sparkling Hill Resort, you have access to the KurSpa. Take a day to decompress and soak in the views of Okanagan Lake in the infinity pool or book a couples massage.
If you’re at the Outback Lakeside Vacation Homes, you can enjoy the pool or get on a paddleboard and explore the shores around the resort.
Round out the trip with one last dinner date at the Phoenix Steakhouse and Bar. Check out the rooftop patio and soak up a beautiful Okanagan evening.
And, if you’re not ready to call it a night, just around the corner is the Vernon Jazz Club where you can enjoy live music in cool setting.
