Slay the Dragon
Slay the Dragon is a trail running event located at beautiful Silver Star Mountain Resort, only a short drive up the mountain from the gorgeous lakes of Vernon, BC.
Whether you choose the 13.6km, 25km, or 50km distance, you will start your event at 5200+ feet. Racing to stunning unobstructed views of the Monashee Mountains at an elevation of 6,280 feet whilst running through beautiful single track mountain bike trails of Silver Star Resort.

Package Pick up: Silver Star Mountain Resort
Location: Adventure Center
Time: 2pm-7pm · PLEASE BRING DROP BAG FOR Alder Point to package pick up June 20th. We will not be accepting them on June 21st. · Bring your signed BB waiver (down loadable off the race page website under Links) · Ensure you have signed the Silver Star Mountain waiver (Link on the race page website under Links)
Saturday June 21st, 2025
Check-in & Package Pick up: Adventure Center Start/Finish line: From 5:45am up to 30 mins before racer start time You must check in even if you have picked up your racer package on the 20th.
Pre-Race Briefing: Mandatory, 30 mins prior to race start time at Start/Finish line
Racer Start Time: 50 km: 7am 25 km: 8am 13.6 km: 9:00am
KIDS RACE: 9:30am
Cut Off: At Attridge aid station 2:30pm (all distances)
Cut Off : At finish line 6pm (all distances)
Awards: Start Finish line with 1hr of top 3 finishers of each category
Food: Food and Beverage gardens will be provided by Silver Star Mountain Resort from 11:30 am - 5:30pm
Expo: 11am-3pm
