Whether you plan ahead for your holiday shopping or leave it till the last minute, Vernon is full of winter markets to help you support local this season. The first winter markets kick-off in November and we invite you to see what the local makers and artisans are crafting up.

Celebrate 25 years of Live Jazz in Vernon
Did you know that Vernon is one of ONLY three cities in British Columbia with a dedicated live jazz venue? The Vernon Jazz Club is celebrating their 25th anniversary of hosting some of the top jazz performers in their intimate speakeasy venue located above Nolan's Pharmacy in the heart of downtown. Make it a date night and grab a tasty dinner downtown at Phoenix Steakhouse and Bar or The Med before their shows on November 2, 16 and 30.

SilverStar Mountain Resort's tentative opening day for nordic trails is November 22 and for alpine is November 29. Okanagan Science Centre's newest exhibit, Tentacles & Company, starts November 2nd. This playful exhibit lets you discover the superpowers of tentacled animals like octopuses, squid and jellyfish.
